Aug. 4, 2017 - County Executive Robert P. Astorino encourages all interested in applying for fair and affordable housing to attend a free informational workshop and tour that will take place at a new apartment complex in Somers.
“These workshops are a great way to understand the fair and affordable housing process and if you are qualified to participate,” said Astorino. “I urge anyone that is interested to attend a free workshop to learn more about these opportunities.”
The workshop and tour will be held on August 19 at the new Avalon Somers Apartment Complex, which is located at 49 Clayton Boulevard. The workshop begins at 10 a.m., and the tour will immediately follow and conclude by noon. Come to learn more about these one- and two-bedroom apartments and ask questions about availability, eligibility, amenities in both the complex and neighborhood, and access to transportation. There is no cost to attend.
