April 26, 2017 - Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino welcomes the 14th annual Operation Prom Dress Giveaway back to the Westchester County Center in White Plains this weekend, providing designer dresses to students who otherwise would struggle to afford prom.
“We all know how out of control the cost of prom can get,” said Astorino. “But thanks to Operation Prom and The Black Tux, thousands of young women and men will now get the chance to have their dream prom.”
Astorino reminded students and parents that looking good is only part of a great prom experience. “Above all else, we want to make sure everyone has a safe prom,” he said. “So be smart, be sober and have the time of your lives.”

About The Black Tux
The Black Tux is the premium online suit and tuxedo rental company, created to disrupt the antiquated men’s formalwear industry known for ill-fitting, poor-quality suits and tuxedos. Founded in 2013 by friends Andrew Blackmon and Patrick Coyne who, out of frustration while preparing for Andrew’s wedding, decided that men needed a better alternative to traditional tux and suit rental offerings.
