September 23, 2015 -- County Executive Astorino recently prepared a brief video for the Archdiocese of New York welcoming Pope Francis to America and New York. Astorino, who is scheduled to attend the Pontiff's masses on Thursday evening at St. Patrick's Catherdral and on Friday evening at Madison Square Garden, is looking forward to hearing the Pope's message. Astorino had the privilege of meeting Pope Benedict when he worked as the station manager and program director of The Catholic Channel on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio.
