March 14, 2011 -- County Executive Robert P. Astorino Monday expressed his condolences to the people of Japan – and their friends and family in Westchester – over the devastating earthquake and tsunami that has struck Japan.

Beware of any unsolicited emails asking you to donate funds or calls from an organization that you are not familiar with. These kinds of disasters always bring out scammers, warned John Gaccione, acting director of consumer protection for the county.
