Hitting on some different topics this time around, the next Veterans Town Hall Meeting on Tues., March 29, will offer information for female and younger veterans as well as business owners and caregivers.

Representatives of dozens of agencies will also be available to talk about the services they offer to all veterans.

The program, which is offered twice a year, will run in two sessions, from 3-5 p.m. or 6-8 p.m., at the County Center in White Plains.

A panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A and attendees can visit booths by about 40 government and non-profit agencies giving information on everything from legal services to college and volunteer opportunities.

Panelists will represent the Westchester County Office for Women, state Department of Labor and Division of Veterans' Affairs, a county caregivers program, Veterans Benefits Administration and the Small Business Administration. Each panelist will speak briefly about their organization and participants will have a chance to ask questions.

Veterans should bring their DD-214 to file with the County Clerk's office and, if interested in employment opportunities, resumes to give to the many organizations that will accept them at the event.

Attendees should RSVP by March 28 by calling (914) 995-2145.
