Fifth graders from the Anne Hutchinson School in Eastchester meet CE AstorinoForty-five fifth grade students from the Anne Hutchinson School in Eastchester experienced what it’s like to work in the legislative and executive branch of government on Feb. 16 during a tour of the Michaelian Office Building hosted by County Legislator Sheila Marcotte.

The tour consisted of a visit to the Board of Legislators' chamber and the County Executive’s office, where they were able to learn how government works. During their stop at the County Executive’s Office, they met with County Executive Robert P. Astorino and members of his senior staff.

Pictured here are all of the students from the fifth grade class with Astorino.

This is the second group of students from the school to tour the county offices this month.
