Following a series of public hearings held last month, the one-way fare on the Bee-Line’s BxM4C or Westchester-Manhattan Express bus will be increased from $5.50 to $ 7.50 starting Tuesday, Sept. 7.

The discounted fare for senior and disabled riders will go up from $2.75 to $3.75.  Fares can be paid in coins or with MetroCard Pay-per-Ride cards.

Transfers from the BxM4C to MTA buses and subways will be allowed.  However, the “Express Bus Plus” seven-day unlimited ride MetroCards and transfers to the BxM4C will no longer be accepted.

The route’s ridership and on-time performance are being monitored daily and the schedule has already been modified to meet passenger demand and improve schedule adherence.
