Jamila Loftin, granddaughter of Rev. Emma Loftin-Woods, speaks to the gathering, a message of love and peace.

Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino was joined Friday by more than 50 clergy from a variety of faiths for a breakfast gathering to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King who would have been 87 years old today.

The remembrance centered on Dr. King's fight for social, economic and racial justice for all and a call to respect all peoples and religions.

"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice" was one of King's teachings referenced at the breakfast.
