Tele-Town Hall Meeting April 12 at 7 p.m.County Executive Robert P. Astorino will host his third live telephone town hall meeting, called “Ask Astorino,” tonight, Nov. 29, from 7-8 p.m. To ask a question or just listen in, residents are invited to call toll-free (877) 228-2184 and enter event ID 19135 (then press #) beginning at 7 p.m.

If you would like to send a question in advance to the county executive, send an e-mail to  or send him a tweet on Twitter @westchesterCE.

"Our first two tele-town halls were a big success – with lots of great questions,” Astorino said. “With the recent release of my proposed budget for next year, this is a particulary good time to do it again. I urge people to call in.”

The proposed budget, released Nov. 15, is presently before the Board of Legislators. It has no increase in the county property tax rate and calls for a $100 million reduction in spending. The budget continues Astorino's push to make Westchester more affordable by providing tax relief, preserving essential services and promoting economic growth.
