The Nutcracker at the County CenterWestchester residents don't have to travel far to see a first-rate production of everyone's holiday favorite, "The Nutcracker." The Westchester Ballet Company's production of this magical tale of a young girl's imaginary journey on Christmas Eve rivals the best productions in the New York metropolitan area, and all at a very affordable price, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.

Performances will take place on Friday, Dec. 17, 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 19, 2 p.m.

Under the direction of Beth Fritz-Logrea and Jean Logrea, this production features 90 professionally trained student dancers from communities throughout Westchester and neighboring counties, along with professional guest soloists.

Advance ticket prices are $18 for adults, $12 for children (age 2 through 10) and seniors (ages 60-plus); all tickets are $22 on the day of the performance.
