Watch County Executive George Latimer’s Remarks Here.

“We have been working tirelessly negotiating with key law enforcement unions, and I am happy to say that today we have come to an agreement with the District Attorney’s Investigators PBA.

“These men and women work under the direction of Westchester District Attorney Mimi Rocah to help build cases to prosecute crimes. We are thankful for their hard work in keeping this County safe; they have certainly contributed to the County’s drop in crime and we are appreciative.

“Westchester County negotiates with eight unions, and the agreement with the District Attorney’s Investigators PBA is consistent with the other union agreements. This contract takes them through 2024 and covers five years starting with 2020. The increases include 2020- 3%, 2021 – 3%, 2022- 2 %, 2023 – 2% and 2024 2.75%.

“I would like to thank District Attorney’s Investigators PBA Union President Edward O'Rourke for working with us to reach this agreement.

“We are committed to the unions here in the County and we deeply care about the safety of the public. At this point we have two outstanding union contracts with the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association and the Superior Officers Association. We are confident we will be reaching an agreement with those two unions by the end of next week.”
