During his weekly briefing today, County Executive George Latimer proudly announced the completion of a massive repaving project impacting thousands of County commuters.

The project, with a total cost of $11,696,187.14, repaves 5.09 miles of roadway rehabilitation from Bryant Avenue (White Plains) to Mount Pleasant Avenue (Mamaroneck) passing through City of White Plains, Town/Village of Harrison and Village of Mamaroneck. The project also includes replacement of curbs and traffic signal loops along with bus stop improvements and ADA sidewalk ramps.

The area repaved also includes stretches of the road and curbing which were badly damaged during the remnants of Hurricane Ida.

The project began in August in 2021, was substantially completed in June of 2022 and final touches expected in the coming weeks. The road is currently open for use.
