Westchester County is investigating a potential pipe rupture at the main Wave Pool at Willson’s Woods Park in Mount Vernon. The pipe rupture has compromised the structure of the pool, and the Wave Pool cannot open.

On Friday, June 24, Westchester County is welcoming patrons to use the following activities at Willson’s Woods Park: the Spray Deck, the Aqua Playground and the slides. The rest of the park will be open for picnics, as well as DeMateo Terrace.

Westchester County will be waiving the fee this weekend for the Spray Deck, Aqua Playground and the slides.

The County is working with a contractor to determine the cause of the issue, and identify measures to repair the pool. More information will be forthcoming.
