County Executive George Latimer Statement on Women’s History Month

“Women’s History Month is designated to highlight the struggles Women have taken on, achievements they have accomplished and the future of a fully equitable society. In my Administration, we have taken this challenge head-on and employ more women in positions of power then any County Administration before. As a father and grandfather of women, I know we have come a long way, but there is plenty left to travel to achieve full equality – and it will take all of us to accomplish this.”
