“On this day each year we are reminded to pause and reflect on the legacy and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King. During our current times, it imperative to heed his calls for equality resulting in a better future for generations to come. He reminded us to judge a person not by the color of their skin – or any external demographic – but rather by “the content of their character.” Westchester County will forever honor Dr. King on this day and will continue to do our part to right wrongs, bring justice to injustice and create that lasting, and better, future.”
