On October 14, Westchester County will host a Tourism & Hospitality Job Fair at the Marriott Westchester Tarrytown, 670 White Plains Road in Tarrytown from 1-4p.m. The job fair will showcase employment opportunities from across the county and offer attendees an opportunity to learn about the various career paths available.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said: “Westchester County is home to a vibrant tourism and hospitality industry. This industry was hit particularly hard by the pandemic and many of these businesses are in need of talent now that they have reopened. This job fair is an opportunity for them to find that talent.”

Natasha Caputo, Westchester County Tourism & Film Director, said: “There are a wide range of employment opportunities available for job seekers who are interested in joining Westchester’s tourism and hospitality industry. As the County builds back and welcomes visitors, the industry offers growth and many different career paths. I encourage both Westchester residents and job seekers from neighboring counties to join us on October 14.”

Bridget Gibbons, Westchester County Economic Development Director, said: “The tourism and hospitality industry plays an important role in our local economy. It also contributes to the high quality of life that Westchester residents enjoy and attracts visitors to Westchester. We are happy to support them by providing a forum to connect with job seekers.”

Sean Meade, general manager of Cambria Hotel White Plains-Downtown and president of the Westchester Hotel Association, said: "This event is a great opportunity for hospitality businesses with staffing limitations to come out and recruit talent. The County is hosting and promoting this event at no cost to employers, and we appreciate their continued support of our industry."

The job fair is sponsored by Westchester Tourism & Film, in conjunction with the Westchester County Office of Economic Development, Westchester-Putnam Career Center Network, Westchester Hotel Association, the Westchester Marriot and The Business Council of Westchester.  Complimentary transportation provided by Red Oak Transportation.
