It might be the start of a new school year, but Westchester County is pushing the same message – get vaccinated!  In an effort to get more eligible young people vaccinated, the County has teamed up with singer/songwriter and producer Adam Met of the Billboard Music Award winning music group AJR to get the word out about the importance of getting vaccinated for COVID-19.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said: “We want to continue to combat vaccine hesitancy, especially among eligible young people. We want to thank AJR for supporting this initiative. With more people vaccinated, we can return to doing things we enjoy doing.”

Met said: “Kids and young adults may not necessarily get the virus as easily as adults and older people, but you need to think about your friends and you need to think about your family.”

This latest PSA is part of an ongoing campaign launched in January encouraging the vaccine across the County among communities of color and young people. AJR joins a roster of celebrities featured in Westchester County’s PSA campaign including the New York Knicks and the Radio City Rockettes.
