October 22, 2019 - Standing on the front steps of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains, Westchester County Executive George Latimer hosted the first-ever Westchester County Italian Flag-Raising Ceremony. The celebration, which was held in honor of Italian Heritage Month, included a reception that paid tribute to all Italian Americans who call Westchester County home. The flag raising ceremony concluded with a spirited rendition of the Italian National Anthem, “Il Canto degli Italiani.”
