April 3, 2019 -- Westchester County Executive George Latimer announced spring service changes to the County’s Bee-Line Bus System effective Monday, April 8.

“These enhancements are part of our ongoing efforts to provide dependable service to the residents, workers, and visitors of Westchester County,” said Latimer. “With nearly 35 percent of our customers starting or ending their trip in Yonkers, the additional service on the Routes 1 and 2 will improve service to our community”.

Beginning Monday, April 8, service changes will go into effect on the following Bee-Line bus routes: 

Route 1:

  • There will be additional Sunday morning service in both directions.

  • All Sunday northbound trips between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. will now start at the 242nd St. Station.  Trips will begin at 8:25 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.

  • All Sunday southbound trips between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. will now start at the Yonkers City Line. Trips will begin at 7:44 a.m., 8:29 a.m. and 9:12 a.m.

  • There will be minor weekday schedule changes.

Route 2:

  • A weekday southbound trip will be added from Main & Mill St. at 4:48 a.m.

  • There will be other minor weekday schedule changes.

  • The 9:10 a.m. Sunday northbound trip will now begin at the 242nd St. Station at 8:50 a.m.

Route 3: There will be minor weekday schedule changes.

Route 7: There will be minor Sunday schedule changes.

Route 27: The 5:59 p.m. southbound trip will now begin at 6:04 p.m.

Route 42: A weekday westbound trip will be added at 5:50 a.m. There will be other minor schedule changes.

Route 55:

•           A weekday southbound trip will be added at 5:40 a.m. from the Mt. Vernon West Station to Dyre Ave.

•           The weekday 6:05 a.m. southbound trip will now begin at Macy’s at 5:45 a.m.

Route 60:

•           A weekday northbound trip will be added at 6:00 a.m. 

•           The weekday 5:40 a.m. northbound trip will now begin at 5:35 a.m.

•           A Sunday northbound trip will be added at 7:30 a.m.

Route 61: The weekday northbound 6:00 a.m. trip will now begin at 5:55 a.m.

BxM4C:

•           The 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. southbound trips will be combined and start at 11:00 a.m.

•           The 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. northbound trips will be combined and start at 1:30 p.m.

•           There will be other minor schedule changes in both directions.

All Loops: The times of all trips are changing to provide better connections to trains at the White Plains Station.

Loop B:

•           The 6:33 a.m. and the 3:22 p.m. trips will be the only trips that operate into the post office complex. All other trips will stop on Westchester Ave. by the post office entrance. 

•           The 9:48 a.m. eastbound trip will no longer operate.

Loops C & D:

•           Loop C will no longer serve the following stops: Westchester Ave. at Lincoln Ave., 90 S. Ridge St., Bowman Ave. at Port Chester Middle School, 287 Bowman Ave., and 2900 Westchester Ave.

•           Loop C will be modified to include stops at 1101, 1129 and 1133 Westchester Ave. and all stops located on W. Red Oak Ln.  Trip times will be adjusted to accommodate these stops. 

•           Certain Loop D trips will now operate as Loop C trips, and will continue to serve all stops currently served by the Loop D. These trips will begin at 6:33 a.m., 7:45 a.m., 8:38 a.m., 2:39 p.m., 4:04 p.m., 5:05 p.m. and 6:09 p.m.
