February 20, 2019 – Westchester County Executive George Latimer will be in attendance tomorrow morning as Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. gives the “State of the Borough” address.

Latimer will be in attendance after a year full of collaborative efforts with Westchester’s neighbor – most notably the green-lighting of the Penn Station Access Project - a cause both the County Executive and Borough President dedicated themselves to seeing ultimately come to fruition.

Latimer said: “Ruben is a superb leader with whom I have a long history of working together in the State Assembly - and my first year as County Executive was no different. While a border between the Bronx and Westchester may be clear on a map, it’s a blurred line in the eyes of so many of the folks who live and work here. Ruben and I have celebrated joint accomplishments in this past year and I look forward to our continued joint efforts to better the lives of residents in our region.”
