June 26, 2018 -- “We are disappointed to hear of the Supreme Court’s ruling to support President Trump’s travel ban on Muslims. While we respect the institution of the Supreme Court, the Court has historically not always ruled correctly – and this is one of those times. The ban is in exact contradiction to everything Americans stand for. While the ban perpetuates Islamophobia, we as Westchester residents will not. I want to remind everyone that Westchester respects all of its residents regardless of race, gender or creed. We extend a helping hand when needed, and stand together to say we will not accept fear or hate in our County.”
