Feb. 3, 2018 -- This week, Westchester County Executive George Latimer became the first County Executive to visit El Centro Hispano’s food distribution day. Surrounded by fresh vegetables, fruit, yogurt, meat and chicken, Latimer met with volunteers and families and offered his support: “We are all brothers and sisters. We all want the same things: to protect our children and our families. There are people who say a lot of things that I don’t agree with - I don’t pay them any attention. What I do pay attention to is El Centro Hispano helping you, and the County Government that I lead, will help support El Centro Hispano so they can keep doing this work.”
