Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins released a new video addressing the policies and protections put into place in Westchester for women’s rights over the last 7 years. These efforts include the enacting of laws to ensure safe access to reproductive health care facilities, investing in programs to combat domestic violence and achieving record-setting engagement with minority and women-owned businesses, totaling $95 million in contracts last year alone.

Jenkins said: “As someone who helped establish Westchester’s Office for Women, I’ve always been committed to ensuring women in our County have the support and protections they need. Moving forward I remain committed to expanding economic opportunities for women, increasing access to critical resources and continuing to foster partnerships that strengthen families and create a more equitable future for all.”
