(White Plains, NY) – During his bi-weekly COVID-19 briefing, County Executive George Latimer announced the expansion of the County’s remote learning sites for the remaining portion of the school year.

Right now, there are 17 sites, all over Westchester, from as far south as Yonkers, as far north as South Salem. They will start operating on Jan. 19, and continue until June, following the school calendar for that particular district. Additionally, Latimer outlined the efforts done by the Westchester County Department of Health on vaccine distribution. Yesterday, 1,030 doses were administered at County Center by Westchester Medical Center. To date 1,015 vaccines have been given directly by the Westchester County Department of Health – with another 230 people scheduled for today.
