During today’s bi-weekly COVID-19 briefing, County Executive George Latimer announced that the County has received 500 doses of the Moderna vaccine from New York State and has begun vaccinating the County’s frontline workers – including Department of Health nurses.

The County has booked all 500 vials to be given to County staff in the 1A group and other health providers here in our community. Doctors and nurses working for the County will be administering the vaccine according to the guidelines established by the New York State Department of Health.
