“This day begins a week-long celebration of African-American culture and heritage by families and communities around our nation and County known as Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is a time to reflect and recommit to the seven guiding principles of the season – guiding principles which aim to celebrate and advance the common good. I wish all Westchester residents who celebrate a joyous Kwanzaa.”
