“As we all endure what feels like an endless cycle of darkness during this pandemic, it is a perfect time to recall the story of Hanukkah - a story of bringing light. While we are all facing a darkness now, it is imperative we remember that there is light and we are approaching it. We can see it – and if we endure together, as they did in the story of Hanukkah, we will get there. I wish Westchester’s Jewish residents a Happy Hanukkah as the Festival of Lights begins.”
