(New Rochelle, NY) – Once again prior to his daily Covid-19 briefing, Westchester County Executive George Latimer brought along thousands of masks, both reusable and disposable, as a part of continued County-wide mask distribution efforts. Latimer was joined by New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson, Councilmembers Martha Lopez and Yadira Ramos-Herbert and faith leaders from across the city including representatives of St. Catherine A.M.E Zion Church, Family Christian Center, Sensational Shiloh Baptist and Bethesda Baptist Church.

Latimer said: “Westchester County continues to seek to be good partner to the City of New Rochelle. We are here to distribute masks to some of the major houses of worship here in the City and the pastors and leaders there will make sure that they are distributed to those who need them most as we move to continue to stop the spread.”

The County has distributed thousands of masks to municipalities, houses of worship and civic organizations all throughout Westchester.

Bramson said: "Today's delivery of masks is only the latest example of the County's outstanding leadership throughout the COVID-19 crisis.  Houses of worship have been at the forefront of protecting the health of our most vulnerable residents, and by providing faith leaders with PPE, we strengthen our entire community."

These masks, both disposable and re-usable, come from a donations from the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA) as well as Hanes Brands Inc. and were facilitated by New York State.
