Information about the Westchester County Child Care Emergency Drop-in Center
- The program, coordinated by the Office of the County Executive in partnership with DSS and the Westchester County Youth Bureau offers child care for children ages 4-12
- Children are able to participate in the online learning offered by their school while at the child care program.
- Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- We serve two meals plus one snack daily.
- All staff wear masks and practice social distancing. Everyone who comes into the facility must be masked and screened by our nurse.
- Originally it was for first responders and healthcare workers - now it is open to all essential employees
- transit workers, Postal carriers, grocery workers, delivery people, gas station attendants, construction workers – affordable housing sites, maintenance people, child care workers, group home attendants, home health aides
- The program has been extended until Friday, June 26.
