December 7, 2018 – “Our nation was attacked 77 years ago. We must never forget those we lost on that fateful day. But instead of defeating us, the attack on Pearl Harbor made clear the determined spirit that drives us as Americans. Following that day that will live in infamy, thousands of Westchester residents went on to fight in World War II as a manifestation of that spirit. Westchester is eternally thankful to those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedoms – in the past, now and in the future.”
