Update On Shooting At Westchester Medical Center

August 8, 2018 – The Westchester County Department of Public Safety has confirmed a shooting at Westchester Medical Center (WMC) in Valhalla. The incident was contained to a single room. There is no ongoing threat to anyone at the hospital, or any other medical institution. The Administration is in constant contact with law enforcement. A press briefing with Westchester County Police and hospital personnel will follow shortly at WMC. Time to be announced.
