Dear Neighbors,

Warmest wishes to everyone for the New Year.

Whether you call Westchester County home, work here or are a frequent visitor, this first edition of the “My Westchester” Calendar can serve as a daily reminder of just some of the reasons Westchester is a place for all to enjoy.

Every image, from January through December, has been submitted to us by our own residents, businesses and non-profits who are passionate about the County they love. We are fortunate to have geography blessed by the mighty Hudson River and the Long Island Sound, a nationally accredited parks system, picturesque main streets, historic homes and gardens, scenic trails and natural beauty. This calendar truly celebrates what makes Westchester County so unique.

Each photograph was featured on the Westchester County homepage, and in the “My Westchester” Newsletter throughout the year. And, we want all of you to help us create our second edition of the “My Westchester” Calendar for 2020. So, send photos of your favorite Westchester County spots to or use the hashtag #MyWestchester.

I wish you all a peaceful and prosperous 2019.
