The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action is within the Department of Human Resources under the leadership of Paula Redd Zeman, Commissioner of the Department of Human Resources and Patricia Brimais, Director of the Office of  EEO/  Affirmative Action.  The Office is located at the Michaelian Office Building, 148 Martine Avenue Suite 103, White Plains NY 10601 and can be reached by calling 914-995-2141.


It is the priority of County Executive Andrew J. Spano to ensure a healthy working environment for Westchester County employees while, at the same time, making the workplace reflect the true multi-cultural and ethnic diversity of Westchester County.  Under this initiative, the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action is responsible for the implementation of a proactive effort that enhances its role within Westchester County government.  The initiative enables the Office to be innovative and on the cutting edge when dealing with issues such as discrimination, harassment, disparate treatment, adverse impact and minority recruitment.
