County to Provide Limited Service on November 27 and December 25 for First Time

For the first time in its history, Westchester County’s Bee-Line Bus System will operate service on Thanksgiving and Christmas. On Thursday, November 27, and Thursday, December 25, the Bee-Line will operate on a Sunday schedule for both fixed-route and ParaTransit riders.

In prior years, the Bee-Line did not operate on Thanksgiving or Christmas, leaving riders without public transit options. This new service aims to provide greater flexibility for families, workers, and travelers who depend on public transportation during the holiday season.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The Bee-Line has always been about connecting people to where they need to be, and that does not stop on the holidays. Offering service on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the first time marks a milestone for our County and reflects our commitment to the riders who depend on us. I extend my sincere thanks to our operators and staff for making this service possible and ensuring residents have reliable transportation even on these important days.”
