Evening and Saturday Hours Added to Support Bee-Line Passengers Before OMNY Launch

Westchester County has extended hours at the County Center Parking Office to make it easier for Bee-Line bus passengers to purchase and refill MetroCards. The office will now remain open until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It will also add select Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through December 2025, giving riders more flexibility ahead of the transition to the OMNY contactless payment system in early 2026.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “We know that many Bee-Line riders depend on public transportation to get to work, school, and other essential destinations, and not everyone can make it to the County Center during standard business hours. These extended hours make it easier for working families to refill or replace their MetroCards while we prepare for OMNY’s launch early next year. It’s another way we’re ensuring Westchester riders have the access and support they need during this transition.”

The County Center Parking Office MetroCard window allows Bee-Line bus riders to add value to both regular and reduced-fare MetroCards. Riders can also purchase new MetroCards and ParaTransit ticket books. Purchases can be made by cash or credit card, and riders are encouraged to call ahead at (914) 995-7582 to confirm MetroCard availability.

The extended hours are a temporary measure to support Bee-Line passengers through the final months of the MetroCard program. The County encourages riders to stay informed about the upcoming OMNY system, which will make paying for bus and train rides faster, simpler, and more flexible when it launches across Westchester in early 2026.
