Free Anti-Bullying Resource
Every
day, children are teased, threatened, and tormented by bullies in our
schools and communities. To put an end to it, the U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS) recently launched a nationwide
campaign to make schools and playgrounds safer for children. HHS's
efforts culminate this summer with a comprehensive multimedia resource
card that informs caregivers, educators, and children about bullying
and how to stop it. FYI Based
on Megan's Law, DCJS has a public website that all individuals can
access to identify Level 3 Sex Offenders. The website will provide a
picture and personal information. The website will NOT give any
information on Level 1 or 2 sex offenders.
