Presidential Freedom Scholarship

The Presidential Freedom Scholarship program recognizes high school juniors and seniors for outstanding leadership and commitment to community service with a $1,000 scholarship for college.  Each high school in the nation may select up to two students who have met or exceeded the requirements.  Students who complete at least 100 hours of community service, either through a school-based service-learning program or independently through service at a non-profit or faith-based organization, are eligible to receive the scholarship.

Applications must be filed by the July, 16th deadline.  The applications can be found on our website at http://www.nationalservice.org/scholarships

The Presidential Freedom Scholarship is sponsored by Learn and Save America, a program administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service.  The Corporation also administers AmeriCorps and Senior Corps.  Together these programs engage more than 2 million Americans of all ages and backgrounds in service to meet local needs.
