Training Programs

for service providers

Trainings on domestic violence and related issues are offered to police departments, county departments, outside organizations, medical facilities and other service providers. Annual training conferences are also held for law enforcement on requested topics.

DV in the Workplace

Trainings are available upon request within the County as well as outside corporations.

DV Special Needs

A desk manual is available for service providers inside and outside the domestic violence community in order to better identify and respond to the needs of survivors.

DV Medical Facilities

Emergency Room staff trainings are offered to hospitals in Westchester where each hospital receives a Polaroid camera to document the injuries of domestic violence victims.

Police Training

Individual department trainings are available upon request. We also hold annual police trainings on a variety of domestic violence issues.
