October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. To educate our community about this serious issue, we prepare a booklet that includes events on any topic related to domestic violence and other issues of victimization of women: spouse or child battering and abuse, LGBTQ domestic violence issues, incest, sexual harassment, rape, legal and health issues related to family violence.

The calendar covers events between Oct. 1 - 31 and lists events through December. We also publish "save the date" events for the spring. In mid-September, the calendar is distributed to county residents, women's organizations, etc.
