The Women’s Hall of Fame and Scholarship Awards Program (WHF) was established as a tribute to Westchester women who have generously contributed their energy and abilities to the advancement of women in our county. We present the award for outstanding contributions in one of the following fields: the arts, athletics, business, education, government, human services, humanitarianism / philanthropy and sciences.

A specially designed medallion is conferred each year upon a woman who has been selected, by a blind process, for induction into the Women's Hall of Fame. In addition, posthumous awards have been given in memory of women who have similarly contributed to the quality of life in the county. To honor the awardees, an awards luncheon is held annually during Women's History Month.
