Domestic Violence and Women and Men with Disabilities

Women with disabilities have the same - or higher - incidence of domestic violence as all women. The Office for Women is working with the Office for the Disabled to provide information, support and safety planning to women and men with disabilities who have an abusive partner or personal care provider. For TTY and Para-transit information, contact the Office for the Disabled.

If you are a service provider for disabled victims of domestic violence, please complete our incidence survey online or download the printable version. For additional information, read the press release or an article from the Office for the Disabed's "Out and About" newsletter.
