There are two parts to Westchester Access:

  • Giving away the County's old computers to non-profit groups
  • Matching up businesses with old equipment to non-profit groups that can use it.

The purpose of this site is to help match up the County government and business that have surplus computer equipment with non-profit groups who might be able to use the equipment.  This includes PC's, monitors, printers, scanners, modems, CD Rom drives, hard drives, zip drives, speakers, installed licensed software, and other related equipment.

Eligibility: 
Non-profit organizations and schools registering on this site must be located in Westchester County and be 501C3 qualified. 
Note: Organizations wishing to donate equipment can request a copy of the non-profit agency's "determination letter" (i.e. the letter from the IRS stating it is a 501(c)(3) entity.  You can also request to have a representative of the entity make a written representation that such "determination letter" is still in full force and effect and has not been revoked by the IRS.
