Volunteers in Archives (VIA)

The Westchester County Archives boasts an exciting volunteer program: Volunteers in Archives (VIA). Those accepted into the program are carefully trained and then assigned various projects.
Volunteer assignments are tailored to individual interests and skills and can include assisting patrons in the Archives' Reading Room, preparing original documentary and photographic collections for use by researchers, assisting in the creation of collection indexes, and document transcription.   Volunteer at Westchester County Archives indexing records
