Record Description: Index of
corporation names created from statements of incorporation, amendments, name changes,
and other filings recorded with the office of the County Clerk for
businesses, fraternal organizations, and benevolent societies, and
religious organizations including
churches. Certificates of includes names of
initial directors, statement of purpose,
proposed location of business, and statement of assets. There are 58 volumes that make up Series
45 from which this index was created. Of those 58 volumes, 14 have been
fully and 10 partially indexed, resulting in an index with approximately
3,200 company names. A personal
name index is also available, created from names taken from approximately half of the corporation names that
are indexed here.
