Record Group 50 -- Westchester Organizations

 
Although its primary collecting focus is records created by the county government, the Westchester County Archives also holds some records of persons or organizations closely associated with the government.  Currently in the Archives' holdings are the records of two Westchester library associations.   During the 1980s and early 1990s, the county's Information Services division was responsible for maintaining the electronic bibliographic data for the county's library system, and county personnel were involved in meetings with members of the libraries involved in this consortium.
