#4, Harrison, which contained "The Hills". Six African-American families are

Incorporation
of
the Colored Race National Baptist Home Mission Society, 1908. Churches and other
religious bodies often collect information of interest to family researchers. A New York
State
law
of 1784 required incorporation of religious bodies, which papers
were filed by the County Clerk. The Colored Race National Baptist Home
Mission Society, while headquartered in Yonkers, had a national purpose of
