Westchester County

The Mission of the Westchester County Department of Transportation (WCDOT) is:

  • To facilitate the efficient and economical movement of people and goods through a balanced, integrated and environmentally sensitive transportation system consistent with federal, state and local transportation-related mandates and
  • To foster services and the necessary infrastructure to increase the mobility of people whose activities lead them to travel in Westchester County.

To fulfill this mission, WCDOT manages the Bee-Line Bus System and Westchester County Airport.  The Department also manages specialized transportation services for the Departments of Health and Social Services, and provides support services for Bee-Line ParaTransit, which is managed by the Westchester County Office for the Disabled.
