As people who live and work here in Westchester, we want to be good neighbors, and responsible citizens.
It is against Westchester County law to throw cell phones in the garbage. Violators may be issued a warning or be fined up to $250. Cell phones must be dropped off at locations certified by Westchester County.
 
Westchester County has a human rights law designed to make sure that people are not discriminated against based on race, national origin, gender, sexual orientations. This is the text of the law. (Acrobat Reader required.)
