How do I
know if I'm ready to take my road test?
If you have all of the following....then you are ready!
Do you
have any tips to help me on my road test day?
These tips will help you....
- Be on time. If you are late, your test can be canceled.
- Bring your photo learner permit. If you have not received your photo
learner permit in the mail, bring your interim learner permit and
other proofs of identity to comply with the identification
requirements.
- Bring your pre-licensing course certificate (MV-278) or driver
education certificate (MV-285).
- Confirm that the driver who comes to the test with you has a valid
driver license and can operate the test vehicle.
- Confirm that the vehicle you bring for the test has a current
registration and a valid inspection sticker.
- Confirm that the vehicle operates properly. Check the seat belts,
headlights, doors and other equipment to confirm that they also
operate properly.
- In Addition: If you got your class DJ or
MJ learner permit after September 1, 2003 you must bring form
