Westchester Education
The county’s outstanding educational facilities provide excellence at all levels, from pre-school to post-graduate. Evidence of this can be found in the County Data Book which details the progress of Westchester's students versus New York City and New York State in standardized testing in grades 4 and 8. It also provides statistics on enrollment, student-teacher ratios, SAT scores and percentage of students graduating and attending college.  In addition, all of the public libraries in Westchester County are listed.

The section on county education data shows school enrollment by district and the level of educational attainment of adults 25 Years and Older.

This overview includes public school districts in Westchester, private elementary, middle and high schools, special schools and public and private colleges and universities.
